Resale private home prices up slightly

Prices of non-landed private resale homes island-wide rose marginally by 0.3 percent month-on-month in October, according to flash estimates of the NUS Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI).

This reverses the trend seen in September when the overall SRPI dropped by 0.7 percent.

Excluding small units, prices of apartments in the central region saw the biggest increase of 0.6 percent in October from the month before.

Over in the non-central region, prices of similar units climbed 0.1 percent during the period.

As for small units or those with a floor area of 506 sq ft or below, prices moved up 0.3 percent.
