Philippine-based CDC Holdings has appointed Singapore’s The Ascott Limited to manage its 280 serviced apartments at a recently launched project, according to media reports.

Known as CDC Millennium Ortigas, the 31-story mixed-use development comprises commercial space, residential units and high-end serviced apartment units under one roof.

Citadines Millennium Ortigas targets expatriates and business travellers with its studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Notable facilities include a gym, resident’s lounge and swimming pool.

“On the other hand, CDC Millennium Ortigas’ serviced residences — with units located from the 18th to the 30th floors — are all carefully designed and planned by renowned RDMA Architects and Ivy Almario to meet Citadines’ world-class standards,” said CDC Holdings CEO and President Melesa Chua.

“Residential owners also have the option to use the serviced resident’s amenities such as business centre, meeting and function rooms, as well as third-floor swimming pool.”

Aside from that, CDC Millennium Ortigas will come with eco-friendly features.

“CDC Holdings is in the process of securing certification for Singapore’s BCA Greenmark Assessment criteria. This means future tenants and guests can consistently help reduce their carbon footprint, thanks to energy-saving lights and air-conditioning systems, utility and water meters, large amounts of natural illumination and amenities featuring motion-activated sensors,” Chua noted.

Situated at the corner of Ortigas Avenue and Sapphire Road, the project is surrounded by many amenities and is close to Metro Manila’s other central business districts. The development is expected to be completed in December 2015.
